Your premier Islander one-stop postal center conveniently located at the University Center.  Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.   

Mail Services processes all incoming and outgoing U.S. mail for the campus community. We also provide U. S. Mail delivery and incoming package services for on-campus housing residents.  Packages are received daily from all major carriers.   

In addition to student mail, we offer an array of products and services such as stamps, Express mail, mailing supplies, fax services, and UPS outgoing shipping service.

Private postal boxes are issued to all residential students at no cost.   Students living off-campus may choose to rent a mailbox for a semester or annual fee. We accept Cash, Checks and SandDollars for payment.  Credit cards are not accepted.

The United States Post Office delivers mail to the campus each morning at approximately 9 a.m. and picks up all outgoing mail at 3:30 p.m. There are also two USPS boxes located on campus for outgoing mail. (1) at the NRC building and (1) at the West entrance of the University Center; both may be accessed by way of the 1st entrance gate.

Using campus mailboxes for receiving cash and gifts?

Students, please advise family and friends not to send cash, gift cards, personal information, airline tickets, medicine, keys or any other items of value via standard mail.  In order to ensure delivery of such items Mail Services highly recommends the use of a tracking number, certified or other insured process.  For U.S. Postal Services recommendations go to http://www.usps.com/shipping/specialservices.htm

ITEMS OF VALUE: Send these items with a tracking method or added insurance.

13 OUNCE RULE: Mail with postage stamps weighing more than 13 ounces must be taken by the customer to the local U.S. Post Office for handling.

All Mail Must be Turned in by 3:00pm
